A few days ago, we were talking about Brazen and no need for good reviews. The Royal Treatment is the same story all over again. Just a quote from the official synopsis: “Isabella runs her own salon and isn’t afraid to speak her mind, while Prince Thomas runs his own country and is about to marry for duty rather than love. When Izzy and her fellow stylists get the opportunity of a lifetime to do the hair for the royal wedding, she and Prince Thomas learn that taking control of their own destiny requires following their hearts.” We are not judging the movie but one look at Rotten Tomatoes or IMDb rating can complete the picture, but we were expecting Munich: The Edge of War to lead this weekend’s movie pack, even if the topic is not really all that interesting for audiences outside Europe.
Yet, The Royal Treatment got 75 number ones on Saturday, leaving Munich behind in most of Europe, once again pointing towards comfortable rom-com over heavy historical drama. All was not lost though, because Ozark returned to number one with the first part of the fourth season and triumphed over another return. The third season of Too Hot To Handle was released whole, but it wasn’t enough to beat seven episodes of Ozark. A popular reality show about a group of sexually starved individuals almost didn’t get over another popular title, Archive 81.
