FlixPatrol was launched on April 1st, 2020, and since then, it expanded to every corner of the world, now covering more than 800 individual streaming charts in 160 countries. Daily updated charts also cover various social media trends, search volumes, and other streaming-related datasets.
You are now part of 400,000 users that could access with the FlixPatrol Free model more than 12 million data points for over 35,000 individual titles. Film, TV, and other large media companies can enjoy access to these data points in a structured form via the FlixPatrol API to work with data in their business intelligence software. Now we have created a new product tier.
Introducing FlixPatrol Premium
From September 24th, 2023, some of the sections of the FlixPatrol website are now exclusive to the FlixPatrol Premium subscribers. This paid membership allows you to access all TOP 10 daily, monthly, and yearly archives coming back to 2020 for all countries and streaming services. Daily Full TOP 10 is also available only to Premium members as movie and TV show details with popularity. The overall TOP 10s, including the worldwide rankings, remain free and open to everyone.
Sections like Demographics or Piracy popularity, available before only to registered users, are now also part of the FlixPatrol Premium. This rule also applies to Advanced Search, where you can play with a lot of various filters. Last but not least, the Dashboard tool went through a massive rehash in previous months, so you as a Premium member, now compare titles on the go even better.
New features coming to FlixPatrol Premium
Every new FlixPatrol Premium subscriber can expect more interesting datasets and features in the upcoming months. We have been preparing our viewers panel around the world so with the first-party data you as a subscriber can have even more insights about what is popular on streaming right now. There are also creators and actors profiles ready to be launched with detailed popularity data. We also want to build more popularity charts around genres, countries of origin, or keywords. Kids charts from Netflix and other streaming services are also on our roadmap.
For everyone, including the FlixPatrol Free users, we will provide more local streaming services once we validate the quality and system of their TOP 10 charts. More social media will be added to the mix as other platforms are still emerging with new data. The world of streaming is infinite and together with you, we want to explore it.
Since November 2023, all new and present FlixPatrol Premium subscribers have been equipped with the API Key, allowing them access to our API. Structured export is excellent if you want to work with FlixPatrol data in your system or application. All datasets are available; traffic is limited to 1,000 calls per month. You will find your API key in the Premium user profile, then check the API documentation for examples and best practices.
