All the twists and turns are history. Money Heist aka La casa de Papel finished its 41 episode run (delivered in five parts). Over the weekend, the show was number one in 85 markets (exceptions being South Korea, Taiwan, and New Zealand) and easily ruled the chart not only regarding the TV shows but all the content on Netflix. Not even the return of family-friendly Lost in Space could compete. Robinson family fought bravely but ended up trailing behind Money Heist (the sole exception being New Zealand, where it was number 1).
What now? Except direct Korean remake, there is a Money Heist prequel already at works with a premiere planned for 2023. It’s called Berlin: A New Series after one of the major characters of the show. There is even a little bit of a setup for the upcoming prequel at the very end of the Money Heist. No spoilers here. Beware, fans have a lot to talk about after the end of the show, because Money Heist is currently trending on the top of all social networks (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).
