Harold Trompetero Saray was born in Bogotá in 1971. He has directed series and soap operas Cartas a Harrison and Amor a mil, as well as commercials, music videos and video art productions. His first feature film was Diástole y sístole, los movimientos del corazón, awarded at the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival in 2000.
