Cars Toons: Mater's Tall Tales Similar Movies

Lightning McQueen gets hiccups and the residents of Radiator Springs give him advice on how to cure them.

A 'leisurely drive' planned in honor of Radiator Springs’ town founder, Stanley, turns precarious as Baja pros descend on the town and challenge Lightning McQueen to an off-road race. Meanwhile, the townsfolk, led by a Stanley-costumed Mater, enjoy the planned 'leisurely drive' to retrace Stanley’s original frontier route. Thinking they’re on the same course, a wrong turn sends McQueen and the Baja pros on a treacherously wild bid for survival. The misunderstanding leaves the racing professionals in awe of the 'legend' of Stanley: the Original Off-Road Racer.

Detective Mater is hot on the trail of a dastardly car-napping! When Tia's sister goes missing, Mater is the only car she can turn to. With this tow truck on the case, anything can happen.

A routine tow lands Mater in Tokyo, where he is challenged to a drift-style race against a nefarious gang leader and his posse of ninjas. With the help of his friend, 'Dragon' Lightning McQueen, and some special modifications, Mater attempts to drift to victory and become Tow-ke-O Mater, King of all Drifters.

Mater, the rusty but trusty tow truck from Cars, spends a day in Radiator Springs playing scary pranks on his fellow townsfolk. That night at Flo's V8 Café, the Sheriff tells the story of the legend of the Ghostlight, and as everyone races home Mater is left alone primed for a good old-fashioned scare.

Mater finds a small UFO called Mator and they have a night out. Later, when Mator is captured by the military forces, Mater sneaks up and saves him with the help of Lightning McQueen and the UFO's mother.

As a professional monster truck wrestler, Mater must work his way up through the ranks from amateur to World Champion Monster Truck Wrestler. But rival wrestlers I-Screamer, Captain Collision, and The Rasta Carian aren't about to give up without a fight.

When a clock lands on Mater's engine, he travels back in time to 1909 where he meets Stanley, an ambitious young car on his way to California. With the help of Lightning McQueen, Mater alters history by convincing Stanley to stay and build Radiator Springs. Stanley meets Lizzie and they commemorate the opening of the new courthouse with their wedding.

Lightning McQueen and Mater are driving in Radiator Springs and drive past Red, who is hosing some plants near Stanley. Mater tells Lightning that he used to be a firetruck, but Lightning doesn't believe Mater.

Spinning is the third Cars Toons: Tales from Radiator Springs. Guido was holding a sign in front of Luigi's Casa Della Tires to get customers to come to the shop. Then Luigi comes and tells Guido to shake the sign, and goes back into the shop. Guido shakes the sign, then starts getting fancy with the shaking, and even spins the tip on his fork. Lightning notices Guido and tells everyone to check out what he's doing. Soon, a lot of cars were there to see Guido. Guido starts dancing with the sign, while DJ plays some music. At the end, Guido tosses the sign high into the sky, and catches it while balancing on two tires and says, Pit stop. Everyone cheers and drives away. Guido daydreams about his dancing, until Luigi, who hasn't watched Guido dance with the sign, comes back out and tells him to shake the sign. The short ends with an iris going on Guido shaking the sign.

Mater and Lightning McQueen are ready to rock! When Mater's garage band, Mater and the Gas Caps, records a hit song, Mater becomes a rock legend. Then Lightning joins Mater's band for the rock concert of the century!

Outside Luigi's Casa Della Tires, Guido is spinning around with his forks spread out because Mater is teaching him how to fly. A skeptical Lightning McQueen asks Mater what he knows about flying, and Mater replies, \Everything.\ Mater then proceeds to tell the story.

Bugged is the second episode of Cars Toons: Tales from Radiator Springs. Red was watering his flowers when a bug flies up to his face. Red blows it away, but it comes back. He tries blowing it more, but it was still coming back. He tries shaking it off, and even honking his horn, but it still wouldn't leave. Then, he tries to splash water on it, and it worked. He was happy, until he sees the bug on Stanley's statue. He was sad, as the bug was covered with water and couldn't fly. Red blows him dry, and he was able to fly again. Red watches the bug fly away, and goes back to watering his flowers. However, the bug comes back with two more bugs. The bugs still bother him, but he still continues watering his flowers.

Mater is a matador fighting a herd of bulldozers in Spain. When Lightning McQueen enters the story, the bulldozers begin to chase him due to his red paint.
