The films plot hinges on a bizarre love triangle involving a loser ventriloquist, his assistant & a blind woman - Hikari is blindly (literally) in love with Daisuke, a failing ventriloquist yet when she finally musters up enough courage to meet him face to face and present him with some flowers backstage she mistakes his assistant for him. For some reason Daisuke and his assistant decide to follow through with the mistaken identity farce which leads to some amusing complications, particularly in the bedroom.
Takaki and Akari are two classmates in elementary school. During their time together they have become close friends. Their relationship is tested when Akari moves to another city because of her parents' jobs. Both of them struggle to keep their friendship alive, as time and distance slowly pulls them apart. When Takaki finds out that he is moving further away, he decides to visit Akari one last time.

17 year old Tokyo pizza delivery boy Kosuke (Kotaro Takada) crashes his bike into photographer Reiko (Miwa Mukunoki) and breaks her expensive camera. He promises to deliver homemade pizza to make up for her broken camera. After discovering that Reiko has moved 1,200 km away to her hometown of Nagasaki things become trickier, but Kosuke decides to fulfill his promise anyways by borrowing a moped from his workplace.
